Answer:
The Official Gazette of the United States Patent and Trademark Office for Patents (OG) is issued every Tuesday and summarizes that week's patented inventions.

Question:What is the difference between a utility patent and a design patent?

Answer:
A utility patent may be granted to anyone who invents or discovers any new and useful process, machine, article of manufacture, compositions of matter, or any new useful improvement thereof. A design patent may be granted to anyone who invents a new, original, and ornamental design for an article of manufacture.

Answer:
If the examiner persists in the rejection of any of the claims in an application, or if the rejection has been made final, the applicant may appeal to the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
